BLACK AND WHITE SHOTS

Random. I love black and white shots. They seem to take away all the fuss and give something raw instead of attempting to attract with an interplay of colours. 

On other news, I have a new fur-ry child in my wardrobe. It was the last thing I needed but I couldn't resist. You can almost see it in the last photo but you'll soon get a better look of it.

BREAK

Break. From exams, studying and uni. These last three weeks felt more like a year of my life. I just hope that I get some vindication, because after all, that's the main reason why we work hard to overcome ourselves. 

And after a long introduction.. I'm loving 'almost maxi' skirts right now. Love the exposed ankle and as always I love converse. 

Right now, I'm enjoying a Starbucks latte and a huge amount of free time.

Another head-to-toe, straight off the catwalk look by the Great Anna Dello Russo.

Shades of Green and blue, particularly in printed fabrics, are my latest obsession. I think this look by Givenchy AW 2011 says it all and justifies why I'm obsessing right now. 

So keep your prints close, both for now and for spring.

Ps. I need that HAT desperately. It would make the perfect post-exam present and it will help me sleep better at night having this baby in my wardrobe ( or exposed on my coffee table).

NEW IN: JEWELRY

Most of you know my obsession with jewelry. There is a special place in my heart for evil eyes, so you can imagine my happiness when this baby came along. This is definitely my favourite bracelet right now and one of the best presents for New Year's.

Sorry for not posting lately but I've been busy preparing with exams coming up next week and spending time with friends and family before travelling back to England tomorrow. But I will be back on track very soon, so stay posted.

2011 IN PICTURES

Happy New Year everyone!!! 2011 has passed so fast but it has definitely made its mark.

I thought that a recap of 2011 in pictures would be a good way to reflect on this past year.

I also want to thank you for all the support you show for this blog and for all the sweet comments. Your support means a lot and it makes you an important part of Mademoiselle Economist.

I wish you all the best for 2012! Look at the new year as a new chance to do everything you want but didn't in 2011. Lets hope this will be an amazing year for all!
