Almost packed for Mykonos! I wasn't sure about what clothes to take so I packed lots of basics, blue shirts, summer dresses, a white blazer stolen from my mum a few months ago, skirts and my favorite leopard print shorts and bikinis ofc! My accessories were the only thing I was sure about when I was throwing things in my suitcase! I am an addict when it comes to jewelry especially one of a kind ones! I got the watch last night from my mum's collection as well as a pinky ring that belongs to her! The pendant is part of the my grandmother's collection which I 'inherited' along with her wooden jewelry box! I am building on my own collection as I jewelry!

It was a show that had it all! Rock n roll vibe, hint of 50s, metallic, sequins, fur coats, rugby knitted sweatshirts, leather, prints! I love the LIGHT BLUE SHIRT, (blue shirts, mens' preferably are an addiction of mine), the biker leather pants in black and red, the aviator style jacket, the printed skirt and the fur jackets! What amazed me was that every single outfit on that runway was perfect! It don't tend to like head to toe runway looks, except on Anna Dello Russo ofc! But the styling was amazing and it looked as if the models were dressed to hit the road! Isabel Marant collection included pieces which are now considered the trends for f/w, and the mix resulted to perfect STYLING and beautiful CONTRASTS!

Note that this season is a season of contrasts! Think minimalism and maximalism ( unique terminology ? :) ) together in one season! Can't wait for fall to come!!

I only wear gold jewelry most of the time as I seem to prefer it with my skin tone and my style but these pieces are to die for so I believe that I am soon to elaborate silver in my jewelry box! Fashionology's pieces are similar to the Pamela Love designs minus the price tag! I need to say that Pamela Love has made her way to my heart with her designs!

The Interview August 2010.

I am almost certain that all the clothes worn by Dan Kling in this editorial called Modern Love, are from women's collections. Anyhow I seem to prefer all the outfits worn by him rather than Freja Beha. I believe than this is somehow the desired result the stylist, (Karl Templer) wanted to transmit to the readers, taking into consideration the theme 'Modern Love', photographed by Craig McDean. I love the rock n roll vibe in Kling's outfits. For sure some prefer Freja's outfits, but that's why we are all different! The best result for my personal style would be a mix between both styles! So if I was in a 'Modern Love' scenario I would be happily borrowing clothes from my beloved boyfriend! However, this is unlikely to happen as he is not into  sequined pants or leopard jackets so I will remain in 'Conventional Love' scenario!

What I love about styling is that you can create different roles and send out different messages. It has the ability of 'role-paying'. I believe this is why we dress accordingly to our mood most of the times.

I tend to do that a lot!

Bambi Northwood-Blythe is definetely a face that manages to give a rock-n-roll vibe to anything she does, in my sincere opinion. She definitely rocked in Aje's collection.

Aje did magic with its f/w 2010 collection which delivers a rock attitude , spiced with some glam. Edgy yet chic, it's with out a doubt a collection worth looking into.

I have fallen for the dress pictured in the first pic and all the semi-maxi embellished dresses, the sequined leggings and for THOSE BOOTS!!

PLAYING DRESS-UP

I do find pleasure by dressing up for no reason at all. This was my graduation dress from last summer which I buried out of my closet a few days ago. I was looking forward to wearing it again!

Although this dress was from 09 s/s collection, its something that you can even wear now, without looking as if you forgot to move on. Its a classic with a twist. Love the fringe and the effect it creates with the legs! It's a closet favourite.
